The Mara work’s combines his experience as a graphic designer and her passion for photography.

 

It was during a period of three-month living in the United States where Mara had the idea to reproduce his own photographs in oil painting. It is her advanced knowledge in image treatment that allowing her to make visual changes that are the basis for her paintings. Your job is to reproduce the digitized image on the canvas and get closer as possible to the original.

 

 

Besides his own photos, Mara sometimes uses the works of great artists such as Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Di Cavalcanti (a Brazilian painter well known) and Andy Warhol.
